Dr. Mona Morstein is a highly respected physician and as a result has been invited to speak at many conferences this year.  She is considered a diabetic expert in her profession and also a specialist in gastroenterology and female health care and nutrition.  She is considered to be a dynamic, entertaining, organized lecturer who has profound knowledge about her subjects.  

Dr. Morstein has or will be speaking at all these conferences this year, 2010:

Insulin Intensive Seminar: May 5-6th, Phoenix, AZ
This seminar is owned and presented by Dr. Morstein with a speaker from the Diabetes Behavioral Institute, from the Medtronic Pump company and a local pediatric endocrinologist.  This seminar was put on only for medical students and physicians to teach them how to use insulin with all diabetic patients in all situations.  A specialist in using insulin, Dr. Morstein knows that--surprising to diabetic patients--many physicians do not know how to use this medicine appropriately to control their blood sugars.  Dr. Morstein's seminar was so successful and the feedback was so positive, that three other organizations which her to repeat it throughout the country.  

Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, July 5th, Toronto, Canada
Each year the CCNM invites Dr. Morstein to speak to their students and physicians on diabetes and how to treat patients using standard medications and naturopathic care. 

Institute of Women's Health and Integrative Medicine, Primary Care for Women, July 21, Portland, OR
Dr. Morstein was invited to be the keynote speaker on Sunday, lecturing to physicians for three hours on the comprehensive treatment of diabetic patients. 

California Association of Naturopathic Physicians Webinar, August 3rd, On the Internet
Dr. Morstein did a webinar to 100 doctors on the comprehensive treatment of diabetic patients.

American Association of Naturopathic Physicians Yearly Conference, August 10-15th, Portland, OR
Dr. Morstein spoke to a standing room only crowd of well over 100 physicians on the topic of "Fatty Liver in Our Overweight Patients". The majority of overweight patients have a fatty liver, which can lead to the same sort of cirrhosis caused by alcohol; naturopathic medicine can be very helpful at reversing that condition and protecting the liver from damage. 

Chandler Regional Hospital, Diabetes Support Group, Sept 7th, Chandler, AZ
This is an encore lecture for Dr. Morstein. Her first talk there was very well received and the nurses who run the Center have asked Dr. Morstein to return for another lecture to patients with diabetes.  

Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, Talk to the Public, Sept 23rd, Tempe, AZ
Dr. Morstein will be presenting a talk to the public on how naturopathic medicine is so beneficial in controlling diabetes and protecting patients from diabetic complications.  Everyone is welcome!

Menopause Seminar, Sept 11, Tempe, AZ
Dr. Morstein will be lecturing on "Nutrition and the Menopause Woman" discussing how nutrition can be used to treat common menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, as well as how it can help prevent bone loss, osteoporosis and and cardiovascular disease. 

Innate Response Webinar, Oct 1st, On-Line
Dr. Morstein will do another webinar to physicians, this time repeating her "Fatty Liver" lecture.  

American College for the Advancement in Medicine Seminar, Nov 4th, Las Vegas, Nevada
Dr. Morstein will be doing a lecture on conventional and naturopathic treatment of diabetes.  ACAM is also wanting to sponsor Dr. Morstein's Insulin Intensive Seminar next spring. 

New Hampshire Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Nov 5-6th, New Hampshire
Dr. Morstein will be doing a lecture on using conventional medications and nutritional supplements in helping to control and reverse diabetes.
